In 1924 two brothers founded a shoe factory in Bavaria and gained international recognition in the developing athletic shoe market when their sponsored athlete, Jesse Owens, won four gold medals at the 1936 Olympic games. Shortly after the Second World War, family disputes led to a break-up of the company. One brother kept the company and renamed it. The other started a new shoe company to compete with his brother. Every summer, Okanagan Hockey School (OHS) takes thousands of kids from across the globe and trains them to become better players. This is no small feat. With over 46 years in operation, OHS has managed to attract kids from over 27 countries, as well as bring its expertise to countries such as United States, England, Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, China, United Arab Emirates, Austria and others. OHS has also recently partnered with NHL teams such as Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Dallas Stars to bring their hockey camps to new markets. So how does OHS manage well over 6000 kids over the course of a couple months?

New Web Design > We would like to congratulate Tree Brewing Co. (Kelowna, BC) on their newly launched web site. Tree Brewing Co. came to DotCom Media hoping to rebrand their online experience with a “fun” and “fresh” look. DotCom presented a funky, urban design that meshed well with the message, and the branding, of their product. TreeBeer.com is another site powered by DotCom Media’s in-house content management system -- .cms. This iteration of .cms had a few extra features added, such as the custom “shout out” box that you will see on some of the pages.
