Feature Project > KCTLive.ca Interview with Randy Zahara, Theatre Manager for the Kelowna Community Theatre
All clients are excited about their new websites and the impact it has on their business. Compliments from customers, increased exposure, increased traffic, increased revenue, etc. But what happens after the dust settles? They say investment in a website can be ammortized over 5 years. That's how long a typical website design will be effective and continue delivering results before it might need a little "freshening up". So what do customers think of their websites a year later after the excitement of a new launch is gone? KCTLive.ca is the official website for the Kelowna Community Theatre and it was completely redesigned and developed a year ago. We asked Randy Zahara, Theatre Manager for the Kelowna Community Theatre if his website still cuts the mustard... so to speak...
Business > Travel & Vacation Marketing: Your Audience Is Online
We have all read in the papers and magazines, or heard on the radio, or seen on the TV or Internet that tourism traffic and revenue in the local economy is down. The industry here in Canada has been in a state of flux since 2001. If you own a business that works in this industry, you know you need to continue building exposure for your business in order to be front-of-mind to any travelers that might be planning a trip to your area. So, where is the best place for you to spend you hard-earned marketing dollars? Vacationers are looking for your business online, they just need a hand finding it and experiencing what your business has to offer.
DCM > August in Review
August is over already? Where has the summer gone? Time to pack in the swim trucks, and start looking forward to dusting off the ski equipment!
First off, we would like to congratulate Dr. Barbara James on her newly launched site – www.MicroAlignmentTherapy.com. Dr. James offers a new age approached to full-body therapy, and soft tissue and joint imbalances. Her new e-commerce site allows practicing physicians sign up for her online course, and, after completing 6 modules, register for hands-on seminars. DotCom Media also helped Dr. James develop her branding identity and print materials, which included her new logo. If you would like to know more about how we helped Micro-Alignment Therapy, feel free to contact us.
We are happy to announce an exciting new relationship with 2 successful hotel operations in Banff, Alberta. The organization that owns and operates both the Banff Voyager Inn and the Spruce Grove Inn has agreed to move forward with 2 websites to promote both properties. What's truly unique about this project is both websites will be conveniently and easily mantained and updated through 1 centralized content management system. Sound interesting? It is! If your business or organization is suffering through the challenge and costs associated with managing multiple websites, give us a call! You won't believe how easy it can be!
August had a lot of interesting things going on internally at DotCom Media that everyone can look forward to hearing more about in the next month or two. We are very excited to show everyone two new solutions we have been cranking away at for the last little while. The first is a reworked version of our CMS. We are sure everyone is going to be pretty blown away by the capabilities and the flexibility of this new system. There really are some impressive features included in it. Best of all, it is refreshingly simple to use. Check back next month for more details and some examples of it in use, or as always, feel free to contact us for more information. As for the other announcement, make sure to stay tuned…
